No New Posts Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting and Notification Dates

The enclosed table is a guide to the required posting dates for the “Notice of Hearing” signs (Section 120-L-3-a-1). The posting of hearing agendas dates on the City website and the mailing dates of postcards to the affected properties and neighborhood associations should be the same as the required posting date for the physical signs on the applicant’s property. Any deviation that results in the “Notice of Hearing” signage for less than a full 20 days prior to the actual hearing should result in an automatic postponement of the subject case for at least 1 hearing meeting. The burden is on the applicant or the City for meeting the required action dates in a timely manner. Applicants therefore generally have 8-to-9 days between the time of filing the application and the start of the 20-day sign posting period to display the sign.
